Ruddy wouldn't be bought on the assumption of being first choice

because he isn't as good as Cech, and certainly isn't as good as Courtois - who was probably the best keeper in the world last season.

He'd just be a bench warmer for next season until Courtois eventually replaced Cech as number 1.

If Oscar is on 40k and Ivanovic on 30k. Ruddy isn't going to walk in as 3rd choice keeper on more than that.
