I always thought it was for the comments as well

I'm sure he said in an interview after the play off defeat that said pretty much the same - him taking the team as far as he could, not sure if he could take them further and that he'd take a step back to think about his future as it was all a bit raw.

Not really sure how they can do him for breach of contract on those grounds, though?
