The club may be about to move into a new phase, one in which we sign unproven foreign quality, any of whom might turn out to be uncaring mercenaries. Think of the dynamics in your own workplace: if Holty's a dominant personality on the training pitches and dressing rooms, it'd be inadvisable to let him move out just now.

And he's also a proven Prem player. We may need him a lot.
