Col de Joux Plane rises straight out of Samoens

One of the hardest TdF climbs. Head towards Morzine and then on to Avoriaz.

One other classic climb nearby is the Col de la Colombiere. Just south of Cluses.

Eat in the little restaurant near the Church. It's ace.
