I know what you mean

But he was a teacher, he had a responsibility to behave responsibly as an adult. If they had behaved sensibly and rationally he would have lost his job, but not a lot more. You just cannot run away with a 15 year old though.

I agree Stuart halls crimes were worse, but the outrageous thing for me is his short sentence rather than what this guy gets (if longer)
