That's nowhere near enough to form any opinion, although I have to say I didn't really see anything remarkable about him in that game. He was playing up front with Zlatan, though, which isn't the ideal framework for movement etc. And it's true that if we've released so many players on the grounds that they're not good enough for the prem then clearly we need more bodies for the squad, bodies of people who are or may be up to scratch.

personally, i hope we don't buy up too many maybes from abroad - foreign players from the Prem, yes, that'd be fine. I sense a strong bond in the squad, which might be dissipated by too large an influx of foreign newcomers looking to use us as a stepping stone to bigger clubs.
