of course they could - but that's a big sum to be fronted and ...

it would have to be built into the conditions that only a certain number of broadcasters can hold the rights in order to maintain large figures... giving one precious right to an internet broadcaster would surely be a huge gamble - don't get me wrong, if it was tried and tested on another sport first; proving to be equally successful as TV, then I could see it it happening.

Just my opinion anyway.
