Toivonen expects problems: 'PSV are asking for too much money'
04/06/2013 09:38
Ola Toivonen is not happy about the behaviour of PSV. The Swedish international sees the asking price as an obstacle to him finding a home at another club.
'The club management has changed and that is very bad for me.' Toivonen said of his uncomfortable position in Eindhoven, after the international friendly against Macedonia (1-0 win).
The Swede was offered a choice of extending his contract which runs out in 2014, or begin pre-season training with the U-21s and wait for a transfer. 'And I have no intention of signing. So I will start with the U-21s on 1st July.'
Toivonen forsees a problem finding another club this summer. 'The asking price is too high. I've said it before and I will continue saying it', according to the attacking midfielder. PSV are rumoured to want at least 4 million euros for the Swedish international.
