potential signings ramble

Exciting that we have the funds to get a couple of really good signings this summer, but must do our homework to avoid expensive, over-rated, team spirit poopers. Hughton/McNally's signing record is, however, good so far and I'm sure they have already identified who they want.
Would absolutely love to get Van Ginkel - already excellent, young & improving and a Dutch buddy for RVW. Would seem a fantastic investment IF we can persuade him to join us.
Suspect we will get at least one Spanish/Portugese, given there are quite a few available at good value prices. Capel could be good - we need pace, but wonder if he has peaked already + would Norwich be the right club to get the best out of him now? Need to be careful to get hungry players not just coming for EPL cash. Getting players with the right personality/attitude is so important.
I think we should be aiming mostly for younger players wanting to prove themselves, but wondering if we will pick up any older fringe players from big clubs who might meet a specific need for us?
Idiosyncratically, I would also like to see us sign a blonde haired player and a baldy-headed one to promote greater squad diversity ...
