one more thing about tablets other than what was mentioned below

which I wholly agree with (especially not waiting for it to boot): my wife drives me mad by dropping the iPad, spilling things on it, letting the kid put jam all over it etc and in the 2 and a half years we've had it it has never even so much as crashed.
