...I sold a home cinema sound system (5.1). Buyer said one of the channels wasn't working. I knew that wasn't right as I'd tested it before shipping; so I simply said I was sort to hear that was the case and if he'd like to send it back to me I'd fix it for him or give him a refund.

Course, I wouldn't have known how to fix it, but he wasn't to know that - in any event I knew full well he was bulls**tting.

Funnily enough, he said no that's OK I'll keep it as is, and gave me positive feedback along the lines of "product shipped promptly and in good order as promised".

However the experience put me off using eBay and I've not used it since.
