because without it'd be judging everybody by the colour of their skin

not that it stops many referring to the 'black community' or the 'gay community' etc, as if black people or gay people are all of one feeling and opinion on all matters (even those that would class themselves amongst those communities)

i believe that's the ridiculousness that Mr Carra was highlighting in his post
