Agreed

If people are sick enough to want to kill others then they will do it regardless of anything else, it's just that sometimes these people us religion as a vehicle for their hatred, but that isn't exclusive to any one religion or cult.

Never the less, if you take away all of these other factors then there will still insane amounts of murders occurring around the world. If religion isn't used as an excuse then something else will be.
