The new money will almost certainly go straight on the wage bill though...

...we won't feel the impact straight away but over the course of a couple of years the first teamers will be on new, enhanced contracts.

Still and all it was a critical season to stay up as the gap between Prem wages and the chumps will grow in the next couple of years and we have the chance now really to establish ourselves and get our balance sheet looking healthy.
