Went to Zagreb last year, really enjoyed it. Beautiful place to visit if you like

architecture, history, cafe culture, drink and good shops at low prices. You can eat and drink very well, even in the best places for very comparatively little. The only issue for me was that everyone smokes and quite a few of the bars where you would expect food only do drink and smoking.

On the Sunday we ate outside at the best hotel on the main square for their finest breakfast for less than a tenner for two. Going back this summer for a weekend.
