I don't think it's really hatred. Let's face it, they ended up where we were, down in the dumps will the rest of the losers in League One. We both got promoted, but they did things right, invested sensibly in the right players (some didn't work out, but you have to expect that) and built properly on their momentum. They've survived that really tricky "second season" in the PL now and have a chance to kick on and establish themselves. We, on the other hand, have utterly bollixed it up under the expert misguidance of Mr Bates. All the momentum and good feeling we had from promotion is long gone, as are all the players who made it possible (ironically, a bunch of them went to Norwich) and we are left wondering what next season might bring (and it could be anything, from a promotion push to a relegation fight).

Oh, if only we had been owned by someone who gave a damn about Leeds United, eh?
