Tbf Newcatle finished 5th last season, so in a way it worked out well

This season they've had a massive injury crisis which hasn't helped, but it's true that Pardew tends to muck up after a while, his long term man management is atrocious, the same happened at West Ham and Charlton. A good short term (2 years or so) appointment though.
