I've seen first class cricketers in nets against bolwing machines...

...stood right behind the back of the nets, they had them at about 80mph, f**k it was scary...then they turned it up to 90mph which as you'll know is not uncommon at the top level...

Back in the day I was considered quite good/fast at league level but a world of difference between that and what goes on in first class games
