Ended up being a decent season overall thanks to a good ending

Nice to see us getting back to playing the way we used to, no surprise to see us winning the last two games with attacking football. Also good to see Holt scoring goals again, I guess that's what decent service and attacking play will do.

Got to give credit to Hughton for changing things when they weren't working, there have been plenty of managers down the years who have stubbornly refused to give up their quarter, leading to a downward spiral. Hughton at least seems to accept that he's capable of making mistakes, which is a huge positive for us. Continue like we've playing in these last two games and I'll be fully on that Hughton bandwagon.

No excuses to play defensively against the poorer sides next season, especially if Hughton is given a shed load of cash to spend. I'm very confident in his ability to bring in a few top half quality players, he's excellent in that respect.

However, if he's just given a paltry figure to spend then I will start to feel a little bit more sympathy for him. We're debt free and active as a prem club in a time of huge tv money, the club needs to bold in the trasnfer market next season. RVW is a good start.
