talking to a veggie at work

I said i could consider becoming veggie if they'd just reclassify pigs as flora. Chicken, beef, yep I could manage without anything but pig. He put on that serious face veggies use when reaching don to our level and said "ah, but are you aware that most pigs are at least as intelligent as dogs?" and I replied "bad example, really, as I'd have no problem eating dogs".
