I'm far from a fan of Beckham, but I agree, but OTT. What I've not liked in ability

(which is pretentiously hyped up too much), you can't really argue that Beckham's impression on other people clearly spreads throughout other teams he's played for

Towards the end of his career, to still manage to make big contributions to games whilst not really being fit, clearly tells you he's been a very good player

Not world class imo, but iconic and well marketed
