The Fall were due to play the final gig at Hammersmith Palais. it was so bad they had to

book someone else to do the closing night.

Some mates went to the Fall gig and Mark E Smith was so pissed he only sang 2 songs and then walked off stage. He ended up stood out the back sulking and smoking with my mate.
