Ridiculous comment. *Spoiler alert*

If you're talking about Ned Stark getting killed (the only developed character they killed in Season 1) then I'm afraid you're watching the wrong show.

The decisions Ned made ultimately and inexorably led to his death. He was shown to be an honourable man in a dishonourable world and paid the price for expecting the same standards of everyone.

Also, Baelish warned him not to trust him.

If you're talking about King Robert, he was hardly "developed" as a character.
