On a like for like basic Swansea would win the EUFA cup now

The competition was very poor back then and but for a deflected goal they wouldn't have won the FA cup anyway.
History is irrelevant anyway. Its a bit like saying dinosaurs were doing really well until changing climate led to them becoming extinct.
