If the tactics were altered due to Ruddy then Hughton needs to bring in a far better back

He had the option to do that in January but didn't so I don't really see that as an excuse for this season to be honest.

I don't really judge performance based on league position, more on points earned. We claimed 47 last season so 41/42 this season will be okay but hardly overachieving.
