Yes it's comparable. Just like Gunn, Hughton has failed miserably for a while before managing to pull out a great win from nowhere. What's the most relevant stat? 2 wins in 20 or "wow we won 4-0, this changes everything!"? We have been s**t for some time and there's nothing to suggest that we will definitely improve under Hughton.

The point is if somebody better comes along then the board has to be proactive, like it was with Lambert. Gunn had one shocking result and one great one, most were up in arms that he got sacked but look what happened...

For what it's worth I think Chris deserves at least the summer and a dozen or so games next season. However, I don't think his job is definitely secure.
