There seems to be a big difference in transfer fees

we have recieved in comparison to what we have spent to me. We have sold players for combined fees of around 2.75 million in the summer and have so far only spent 750k, if we assume Etuhu costs us 750k then we should still be left with 1.25 million not allowing for any transfer budget we already had- although I'm beginning to doubt we ever had one. I can think of 2 explanations for this 1- we have already agreed a fee for Davenport which has been taken into account.. 2- they are taking the piss.
