The fact is that loads of players are lazy and have bad attitudes. Look at Holt before Lambert and after Lambert, he did sold all that was of any note in his career. It took Lambert to make Wes the player he is as well.

Another good example is Sam Allardyce who does exactly the same things, getting the best out of past their prime players and those with disciplinary problems
