Build the tactics around the players, not the other way round.

You also have to consider the fact that he has dropped players (Bennett, Hoolahan) when they've had good spells in the starting XI. Hughton's management is quite frankly bizarre at times, so I wouldn't assume that he is a perfect judge of talent either.
