and we went on the 10 game unbeaten run largely because we had a settled side. The thing is, even since Christmas when we've been on the hideous not many of the players have been individually playing badly (maybe Holt & Wes, Howson for a bit). It's just that their best hasn't quite (and almost all those games have been close, we've hardly ever been hammered) been good enough. The margins between success and failure are very very small (if Holt had scored that penalty v Saints we'd be almost safe now, as an example)
