I freely admit I don't know much about footy, so I haven't got a clue what went wrong this season
But doesn't the logic of your position inexorably make it Hootun's fault?
What you're saying is that we have cheap players who aren't as good as other team's players; therefore our league position is inevitable
But last season we finished 12th, and since then we've had no major departures (certainly no-one Hoot wanted to keep) and have actually added about ?10m worth of new players
Since the only difference is the manager, then ...?
Ps I am not blaming Hoot or saying Hoot out or anything like that, I'm just suggesting what the logic of your position is
