but definitely that scorge of modern information-age football, the hysterical short-term over-reactionary 'angry' mob turning everyting into a black-or-white issue.
I have yet to see a balanced, thought out explanation from any of them for their views, simply a whining "we're a boring team who don't score many goals therefore Hughton is a useless manager who must be entirely to blame", without any serious consideration of why we are where we are and what we are.
Incidentally, I agree that our tactics have frequently been negative this season but I can also see several reasons why this might be the case.
It's obviously possible we might be doing better if we'd been more 'positive' this season, or we just as likely might be down among the already-relegated dead-men Reading & QPR. No-one really knows.
One thing we can be pretty sure of - we almost certainly have one of the three cheapest and least-talented squads in this division, and so roughly where we are is roughly where you'd generally expect us to be. Whatever our feelings on style (and I'm sure we would ALL prefer attacking football in an ideal world) getting angry about being in a relegation struggle seems pretty unreasonable to me
