It's some of the statements that are accompanying such comments that are ridiculous (like the above one about talent as though our relative lack of it is not an issue just because they want a scapegoat). I've been saying for months that it felt like 1995 and I'm a natural pessimist so I deffo expect us to go down. Doesn't mean I feel the urge to blame someone
