I've been demanding we learn the lessons of 94/5 since October. We haven't.

And now, those of us who spotted all this many months ago are accused of being "wise after the event", or "congratulating ourselves". Bollocks we are on either count.

It's always like that on here though. Just as when we were failing miserably for years, the line was "but it's modern football. Little old Norwich can't compete". Yet all we needed was to get proper football people in who actually understood the sport.

And all we needed this season was to ensure we had enough quality. We didn't; we've tried to scramble our way through instead; and we'll probably fail. Entirely our own fault - just as it was in 94/5, when even then, huge numbers of fans decided to point to the bad luck of Gunn's injury instead.

It's a loser's mentality. Far, far too many NCFC fans have it.
