No, sadly I was pretty much as unexcited by the state of our midfield as you were over the summer. If I could be arsed I'd dig out the links to my reaction to the Hughes signing - I think I called him a "goodenginehardworkingCLOGGER" who was a bad signing. And I was right! As were you.

The scary thing has been that lots of people on this board could see in JUNE/JULY that our midfield just wasn't there, and yet it's taken till now even to TRY to correct it.
