That's a very crude take on the immigration debate

Which in fact exemplifies why it's so difficult to have a rational immigration debate

Mass immigration of motivated and reasonably skilled people prepared to work for low wages (because they come from a poor country) has had a substantial impact on the UK working class. It would be nice to be able to have a sensible political debate about that without some Berkeley going "wuh! Foreigns!"
