All my films are on my external hard drive which I regularly update

and I've just renamed lots from things in that folder from names such as "ffe3536262667" to whatever it actually is

Eg ffe3536262667 is actually Cloud Atlas and I have renamed it in the containing folder, but when I add the contents of that folder to itunes, it comes up as ffe3536etc

Bizarre.
