Seriously - I thought that the rules had changed in the last couple of years so that the only negotiation is between the club borrowing the player and the player himself - i.e. the two clubs cannot negotiate to pay a portion of the wage each, as the borrowing club nust cover all wages, but the player can agree to receive a reduced/increased wage.
