is a real mystery, I agree, and a disappointment. Somehow Lambert got more of players than was "actually" there, but Hoots I think is probably v good if he has v good players (he's in many ways tactically superior to Lambert) - so if Hoots buys decent players in whom in has confidence, we might be quite good. Sort of. Maybe. Oh, Christ knows ....
