I don't even understand Pants' viewpoint really. I think that Hoots is on the verge of being a good manager for us, I really do. The basic infrastructure is there, the defensive signings are far superior than before and he has shown ambition with RVW.

However, until we start beating the teams at the bottom far more often there will be question marks surrounding him.

I wouldn't make the criticisms of Hoots if I didn't believe that he could turn it around, I would just want him sacked.
