There is so much emotional rubbish being put on here it defies belief. Get this all into context, Hughton is a long term appointment which is absolutely the right strategy from the board. I will judge him at the end of next season after he has had a chance to choose which players fit in with his long term plans and which don't.

This season was about staying up with what we had and sorting out the defence, job done. Yes, it has not been pretty at times but get real everyone, he has signed some good players, we have RVW waiting to get on a plane to join us and I am confident he will be joined with others through the summer as the scouting network kicks in.

There are 70 odd clubs below us who would swap positions and squads in a heartbeat with us. Let's get behind the manager (as I believe most reasonably intelligent fans are) and see the season out and our position secured next Saturday.
