What I'm saying is that we shouldn't base the way we play on a potentially flukey win.
When we've attacked recently, we've done well. We should base our approach on what suits the players, not whether a penalty is scored or not.
We were negative today, we didn't get a win. That has been the recurring story throughout the season. How many times have we won this season through being ultra defensive? Arsenal at home is about it.
Hell, even against United and Swansea we went for it, Ruddy did the job in the first game, not the defence. Bunn was a bit ropey at the Liberty but we still won because we went for it. Dominated Sunderland in the first half and were comfortably winning before nearly letting them back in through negativity. We battered Wigan at home, Al Habsi made loads of saves that day. We beat Everton because they lads wanted something different to Hughton as well.
The point is that we should press and attack because that's what our squad is suited to, that decision shouldn't be based on a penalty.
