Hughton's record with Newcastle and Norwich - there's a pattern

Early on:

Newcastle: Hughton won manager of the month for August, September and November 2009. Lead Newcastle to their best ever start in the league.

However, form deteriorated and their last seventeen games accumulated just 19 points before he was sacked.

Norwich: Although we started with the thrashing at Fulham, Hughton quickly made the side a robust outfit and lead it through the famous ten match unbeaten period, beating the likes of United and Arsenal en route.

And here comes the 'however' - as with Newcastle, form suddenly flopped and in fact Norwich have amassed just 13 points in our last 18 games.

Newcastle decided to act on the slump and many thought they were harsh in doing so. I guess we'll decide if they were right or wrong to do so.
