why on earth he, and indeed Liverpool, still don't get it.

It's not about being banned longer than someone who might have been banned for dangerous play.

A dangerous tackle cannot always be said to be intentional. Tackling is part of the game. Biting an opponent is not.

Suarez had set the precedent himself before. He clearly didn't learn from a seven game ban, which is why he was given a ten game ban.

It's blindingly obvious really, if you're not wearing your limited edition red-tinted scouse glasses.
