I went to DC last November

Great place, personally preferred it to NY, stayed in a hotel around DuPont Circle which was nice, As for food try and go to a restaurant called the Palm, very nice but will need to book.

Also to get around they have a bus service called the Circulator with 3 different routes I believe which you can hop on and off for $1 a time.
