Morning mate

Everything went to plan but was all too much of a panic! Traffic coming into Chelmsford to catch the train was a complete nightmare and I only had a couple of mins to get the 13:03 to Norwich. Signal failure meant it was 10 mins late getting into Norwich which gave me 20 mins to walk to ground, get me programme and collect my ticket. Sat in seat as the legends were being paraded! Gave my banner to some kid nearby who said he would give it to his little sister on his return home.

Was a very nervy 1st half and at half time I just couldn't see where we would score. 20 mins into second half the tension had been lifted.

I left with two mins of added time to play but when I pegged it to the station like a blue arse fly, I still had 4 mins before departure.

Great day but all a bit too rushed! Must have been the lucky ingatestone train station hey mate? Hope you both had a great day out!

Going to villa game so might bump into you? I was surprised at how many fans boarded the 13:03 train from Chelmsford. Always like to get there early and have a pre match meal in Morisons while reading the programme! ah memories!

Even the oldies in the city stand around me loved their clap banners!
