And you've got to say the crowd were great - just why can't the haters and negatives be like that every week. Every player put a shift in and I'm personally really pleased for Houghton.

For me, he has built on the lambert legacy and sorted out the defence and is ready to build next season. As for the lambert lovers, nothing would please me more than to see them go down. He has spent a lot, the team are not as young as all the pundits make out and yes I am grateful for the his time here, but I think Hoots is a better long term shout for premier success.
