True, but some do. I think, get da yoot on the pitch beforehand and take it from there.

I think the mongalong is part of the problem. Often it's the only real singing you hear until the second half.

People take part in the mongalong (missing off 'hurrah we've scored a goal!' at the end which irks me greatly) and think they've done their bit and/or then wait for someone else to start something off.

It used to be a more spontaneous and organic process, which involved partly responding to the away crowd. Now if the away crowd sing before the game, our crowd is happy to ignore them safe in the knowledge that the mongaong is imminent.

Get rid of the mongalong. Improve the atmosphere.
