The impact on some places was severe. The economic destruction wrought upon industrial areas had profound social impacts. Alcoholism, drug abuse, divorce, death. Whilst I didnt particularly celebrate her death it is easy to understand how those who were personally affected might be pleased.

For others she is the personification of neoliberalism and selfish individualism. They are celebrating the death of what she stands for.
