maybe not. But I'd imagine the number of UK residents actively participating in Islamic terrorism is significantly higher than the number of Americans who joined the IRA in the 70s and 80s.

Can't think of any Yanks that actually tried to blow Brits up - but I can think of at least one Brit who tried to blow Americans up in the recent past.

Regardless of scale, my general point is that we as a country are in no real position to be making glib comments about karma for funding/supporting terrorism. We have our own elements of society that are up to their necks in it just as much as the Americans had.
